Green Valley Dental Services

Healthy teeth and bright smiles are our business. Below is a short list of the dentistry and orthodontic services we provide at our Monroe, WI location.

  • Teeth Cleaning and Polishing – for patients with healthy gums, we offer periodic teeth cleaning and polishing (generally every 6 months) to maintain a healthy mouth and to prevent gum disease

  • Dental Exams – Our comprehensive and emergency exams include Oral Cancer screenings.

  • Sealants – applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth (molars and premolars) to help prevent cavities

  • Crowns – when a tooth can no longer be filled with a conventional filling, or when a tooth is broken, cracked, discolored, or misaligned, a crown, or "cap" is placed over the tooth to protect it and restore it to normal shape and function.

  • Cosmetic Dentistry – a comprehensive approach to smile design incorporating crowns, veneers and sometimes collaboration with an orthodontic specialist.

  • Porcelain Veneers – Porcelain, life-like facings bonded to the front of the teeth to improve shape, color and/or size. Or to close the gaps or spaces between teeth.

  • Tooth Whitening – We offer both at-home whitening, which involves the use of custom trays and whitening products used for a period of time to achieve your desired results, and the in-office Zoom (copyright) whitening when time is of the essence.

  • Athletic Mouth Guards – As a preventative measure, a stop by now to get a fitted mouth guard will prevent less fun visits later.

  • Periodontal Treatments – For patients who have been diagnosed with gum disease, we offer a variety of treatments. We also work closely with periodontists (gum disease specialists) when the need arises.

  • Fillings – including tooth-colored fillings

  • Dental Implants – titanium post placed in the jaw that act as a tooth's roots to replace missing teeth

  • Bridges – also a form of tooth replacement, crowns are placed on anchor teeth on either side of a space and attached to a false tooth – the whole unit is then permanently cemented to replace one or more missing teeth.

  • Partial Dentures – a removable tooth replacement option to replace one or more teeth in an arch. Partial dentures are worn during the day and then are removed at bedtime.

  • Extractions – specializing in easy extractions for the timid as well as the fearless.

  • Root Canals – cleaning of the tooth's roots in order to remove infected nerve tissue usually caused by deep decay or by trauma to the tooth.

  • Occlusal Splints or Night Guards – used to protect teeth from clenching or grinding, or to help prevent or minimize the jaw pain the can be associated with each.

  • Emergency Services – same day services to diagnose, access and treat an immediate and emergent need. Because we respect the time of our patients who have made prior reservations for appointments, we usually do not begin treatment the same day but we will if we time permits.

  • Oral Cancer Screenings – oral cancer screenings are done routine and as a complimentary service to our patients at their routine periodic examinations.

  • Oral Biological Testing – oral DNA biological testing to assess the virulence of the bacteria in the mouth.
